Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. Definitions

"We", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of boardsdirect-fastsigns.co.uk, an authorised Nobo / ACCO Brands retailer registered in England and Wales. "You" and "your" refer to the individual or organisation placing an order. "Products" means the Nobo-branded goods sold through this website.

2. Orders & Contract Formation

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. A binding contract is formed when we dispatch your goods and send a dispatch confirmation — not on receipt of an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order.

3. Pricing & VAT

All prices are shown exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT at the prevailing UK rate is added at checkout. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price you pay is the price shown at the time of order confirmation. In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing.

4. Payment

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfer. For approved credit account customers, payment terms are 30 days from invoice date. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

5. Delivery

Delivery timescales are estimates only and not guaranteed, except where an express service has been purchased. Risk passes to you on delivery. Title passes on receipt of full payment. You must inspect goods on delivery and notify us of any damage within 48 hours.

6. Returns & Refunds

Consumer customers (B2C)

You have the right to cancel within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Returned goods must be in original, unused condition. Return postage costs for change-of-mind returns are your responsibility. We refund within 14 days of receiving returned goods.

Business customers (B2B)

Business customers may return unwanted goods within 30 days in original packaging, subject to a 15% restocking fee. Bespoke or custom items cannot be returned unless faulty.

Faulty goods

Faulty or damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange collection and replacement or refund at no charge.

7. Warranty

All Nobo products carry a minimum 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Porcelain whiteboard surfaces carry a 10-year surface warranty. The warranty does not cover damage from incorrect use, cleaning products, accidental damage or normal wear and tear.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content including text, images, logos and product descriptions is the property of the site operator or its licensors. Nobo and associated trademarks are the property of ACCO Brands. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales if that is where they live.
